There has been a significant drop in the use of the programme over the past two years, which has resulted in an overall review of all aspects. This is in part due to the up and coming specification changes to the BTEC First programme and the National Diploma planning and provision which will come into place as a pilot during the coming academic year.

As a result, the above web based support programme for the BTEC Firsts and Nationals will not be continuing in its present form after the 31st July 2009. The assignment specifications will be available until the cut off date at the end of July, should you wish to use them for next year’s students.

A new independent ‘TrackACourse’ program incorporating Assessment Tracker, Key Skills, Learning Plan, Learner-Tutor Feedback, IV and Reporting will be available for use from September 2009. This program will cover BTEC Firsts and Nationals. Current subscribers to First in Sport! will have the option to export their current data to the new program.

There is also an arrangement whereby any subscribers in the second year of a subscription who are currently using the interactive units 1 & 2 can have this work hosted for the second year under the TrackACourse site. Please contact support@trackacourse.co.uk for details.
